The department is the leading provider of animal science education research in ²ÝÁñ¶ÌÊÓƵ; and is consistently collaborating with other academic, industry, and government professionals and scientists across the world. Our conduct cutting-edge research that has widespread implications for both traditional and emerging fields in agriculture, along with animal and human health. Areas of our research focus include:

The Graduate Program in Animal Sciences offers a Masters in Animal Science (MAS), MS and Ph.D.degrees. Training is offered in both applied and basic aspects of animal sciences. The program will prepare students for positions in industry, academia, and government, both in the applied and basic sciences.
Graduate students also have the opportunity to obtain their degrees through two interdisciplinary paths:
- The doctoral program, in cooperation with the College of Education and Human Ecology, and the College of Medicine
- The is a university campus-wide program offering MS and PhD degrees in environmental science.
Optional Practical Training (OPT)
